Virtual Appointments & COVID-19 Client Information

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

We understand this has been an extremely stressful time over the last ten days. The world has seemingly changed overnight with the global pandemic. First and foremost, we need to consider the health and safety of our family & friends, team members, clients, and the community as a whole over heightened concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are closely monitoring the CDC’s recommendations to limit person-to-person contact and as public health authorities and our Federal Government indicate new policies and recommendations to combat the spread of the coronavirus, Hershkowitz & Kunitzer, P.A. is now taking additional precautions in our office.

We are rescheduling in-person client appointments until after April 6th and restricting walk-in access to clients for the time being.

We are still able to serve your needs fully! We have multiple avenues and resources to get you the services and information you need in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. Our staff is always able to assist you over the phone, as well as facilitate most meetings using video calling such as Skype or FaceTime. As a technology enabled firm, we can receive and provide digital, paperless documents so cleints don't have to leave the safety and comfort of their home to exchange with us the information we need to complete your required tax filings and accounting preparation. Using fully encrypted file sharing platforms and signature services like ShareFile and RightSignature, your digital data is safe with us. For any documents our clients would like to drop off in person, feel free to use our mail slot.

Please understand that our top priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and clients. We believe these measures are in the best interest of both our employees and clients in order to curb the spread of this outbreak. We look forward to enjoying a long relationship for years to come with each of our clients, and we can only do so if we all maintain our health as a priority through this challenging time.

Stay home, stay safe.
